To run FEAST in your school we’ll provide you with all the essential ingredients to make it as easy as possible. All the teacher and student FEAST food rescue resources have been developed to ensure the latest teaching and learning approaches are used to support teachers to implement a real-world curriculum where students prepare and present recipes using food that is often wasted at home.

FEAST provides a unit of work that uses an inquiry-based and integrated approach to learning that can be adapted to suit teachers and students.

Not only do we provide a complete curriculum package, kitchen kits and teacher training, we have other interesting FEAST food rescue resources available as well. Download our FEAST Digital Brochure for more information to share with others in your school.

For all parents and carers, we have great FEAST at home hands-on activities to continue learning about healthy eating, reducing food waste and easy but delicious recipes to get your kids cooking at home.

Cooking in the classroom

The essential ingredients for learning are having fun and being engaged. FEAST gets kids immersed in hands-on cooking activities in the classroom (no kitchen required!).

By ordering the FEAST kitchen kit, students have all utensils to start cooking from a range of healthy and delicious recipes that have been designed to cater to all skill levels. Easy tasteful and sustainable recipes include; fast fritters, crunchy noodle salad, peach parfait, honey soy noodle stir fry and tortilla wraps with butter bean hummus.

Where possible, a FEAST Ambassador will visit registered schools to assist with practical lessons.
